Oushak (Ushak) rugs take their name from a weaving town in western Turkey, famous since the 15th century for large-scale floral and medallion designs in soft, luminous colors — apricot, sage, sky blue, ivory and gold. The knot is relatively coarse and the wool lustrous, which gives the Oushak its relaxed, painterly look.

Ours are made in that same tradition — hand-knotted in hand-spun wool, in muted palettes that suit both traditional Chicago homes and modern interiors that want warmth without pattern overload.
