About Cassim Rug Gallery
One family. One passion. Timeless rugs.
A Family Legacy in Rugs
Cassim Rug Gallery is a living family tradition. Rug making has been our family's trade from the start — first as one of the larger handmade rug manufacturers in the trade, producing fine hand-knotted rugs for leading importers and retailers across the globe.
Over the years, our reputation grew not only for quality and design, but for a deep understanding of wool, weaving and pattern. What began as a global wholesale operation evolved into a curated destination for timeless rugs — right here in Downers Grove, Illinois.
Today, Cassim Rug Gallery connects Chicagoland homes and interior designers directly with the people who make the rugs — no middleman, manufacturer pricing, and rugs with a real story behind them.
Why Choose Cassim Rug Gallery?
- —Direct manufacturer: many of the rugs on our floor were made on our own looms — and custom rugs still are, in any size, color or design.
- —Family-owned & operated: decades of experience, trust and dedication to the craft.
- —Handmade rugs, handpicked: every piece selected for quality, beauty and workmanship — made to last a lifetime.
- —In-home trials: not sure what works? We bring a selection to your home so you can see it in your own light. No charge, no obligation.
- —Care after the sale: professional hand-washing and repair & restoration, done in-house the same way the rugs were made.
More Than a Rug Store
We don't just sell rugs — we preserve a craft, and we guide customers to pieces that complete a home.
- —A curated selection of Persian, Turkish, Oushak, tribal and modern designs — see our hand-knotted collection
