The Lilac Village's mix of vintage homes near downtown and family neighborhoods further out suits what we do best: handmade rugs from a family-owned direct manufacturer, chosen in person, made to last.

The four-squares and bungalows near the Metra line pair naturally with hand-knotted Heriz and Oushak designs in softened palettes; newer homes lean transitional and modern. Everything is handmade in wool or wool-and-silk, and most designs can be re-colored or re-sized through our custom rug service, because we make them ourselves.

Cleaning and repair, picked up from Lombard

We collect rugs from Lombard on request, hand-wash them in our own facility — never by machine — and return them in 10 to 14 days. Repairs, re-fringing and restoration are handled in-house, by hand.
