Modern and contemporary rugs use the same handmade constructions as traditional pieces — hand-knotted, hand-tufted and hand-loomed — but with abstract, geometric, ombre and solid designs and today's palettes: greys, ivories, blues, blush and earth tones.

This is where Chicagoland designers shop for open-plan living rooms, new builds and condos. Our modern collection is mostly wool and wool-silk, much of it made by us as the manufacturer, which means most designs can be re-colored or re-sized to your room.
