St. Charles is about 35 minutes from our showroom at 239 Ogden Ave in Downers Grove — I-88 west, or Route 64 through the Fox Valley. For the riverfront homes, historic districts and estate properties of the St. Charles area, we offer what no chain can: fine handmade rugs from a family-owned direct manufacturer, four generations deep in the craft.

Hand-knotted Oushak, Serapi and Persian designs for the historic homes near downtown; transitional and modern pieces for newer builds along the river. Everything is handmade in wool or wool-and-silk, and most designs can be re-colored or re-sized through our custom rug service — any size, color or design, on our own looms.

Serving the estates of Wayne

Just south of St. Charles, Wayne's estate homes call for rugs at a different scale — oversized pieces up to 13×18 and custom sizes beyond, fine hand-knotted quality, and white-glove delivery. We bring selections directly to Wayne and St. Charles homes so you can see each rug in your own rooms, in your own light — no charge, no obligation.

Cleaning and restoration, with pickup

We pick up rugs from St. Charles and Wayne on request, hand-wash them in our own facility — never by machine — and return them in 10 to 14 days. Repair and restoration of fine and inherited rugs is done in-house, by hand. We also serve neighboring Batavia and Wheaton.
