Shorewood is about 30 minutes from our showroom at 239 Ogden Ave in Downers Grove — I-55 south toward the Route 59 corridor. For Shorewood's newer homes along the DuPage River, we offer what the furniture chains can't: handmade rugs from a family-owned direct manufacturer, four generations in the craft.

Open floor plans, great rooms and tall windows call for larger rugs in today's palettes — greys, ivories, blues and earth tones. Our modern and transitional pieces are handmade in wool and wool-and-silk, and oversized or custom sizes are made to order on our own looms when the builder's floor plan demands it.

Quality that outlasts the trends

A handmade wool rug is naturally stain-resistant, springy underfoot, and made to last decades — the opposite of the five-year machine-made cycle. Feel the difference once and it's hard to go back.

Cleaning and repair, with pickup

We collect rugs from Shorewood on request, hand-wash them in our own facility — never by machine — and return them in 10 to 14 days. Repairs and restoration are done in-house, by hand. We also serve neighboring Naperville and Orland Park.
