Collection: Wool

Wool is the best all-round fiber for a rug: it is naturally springy, so pile recovers from furniture; the fibers' lanolin repels water and stains; it takes dye beautifully and holds color for decades; and it is renewable and biodegradable. Nearly every rug in our gallery is wool or wool-based.

This collection gathers our 100% wool rugs across all constructions — hand-knotted, hand-tufted and hand-loomed — and all styles, from Persian designs to plain modern solids. We also carry undyed natural wool for a chemical-free, sustainable choice.

Wool rugs should be professionally hand-washed every few years; we do that in-house in Downers Grove with pickup across Chicagoland.
