Westmont isn't just a town we serve — it's where our story in Chicagoland ran for years. Before moving to our current showroom at 239 Ogden Ave in Downers Grove, Cassim Rug Gallery operated right on Ogden Avenue in Westmont, and many of our longest-standing customers still come from a few blocks away. Today we're about 5 minutes down the same road.

Your neighborhood rug store, one town over

Four generations of rug making, thousands of handmade rugs in the gallery, and the same faces Westmont customers have known for years. Traditional, transitional and modern — all handmade, and most designs can be re-colored or re-sized through our custom rug service, because we make them ourselves.

Cleaning and repair — practically next door

Drop your rug off on the way down Ogden, or call and we'll pick it up. Every rug is hand-washed in our own facility — never by machine — and back home in 10 to 14 days. Repairs, re-fringing and restoration are done in-house, by hand, including the older rugs we originally sold to Westmont families years ago.

Stair runners and custom sizes

We measure, make and install custom wool stair runners, and make custom-size rugs on our own looms for rooms that stock sizes don't fit.
